Art For the Unique

Welcome here!
For those of us who have special needs individuals in our lives, we know how hard it can be, but also how rewarding it is too. We want to bring joy and love to their lives, help them live as normal as they can, and we wish nothing but blessings to come their way and to those who take care of them.

If you would like to make an art request, feel free to contact me at:

My Uncle David, a man with down's, was one of the most creative, wonderful people I have ever known. He was a ray of sunshine, hope, and dreams throughout his life  and he wanted everyone to know he cared about them.

Growing up with him was a blessing, he always had his imagination going. He was playful and imaginative and always had something creative to say.
As he grew up, he had created a story of a hero persona of himself, and when I learned to draw, I asked him if I could illustrate this character.  We sat down at the kitchen table then, and he told me all about his character. It looked like him, but with a superman physique. I was in early highschool at that time.

When I finished the illustration, his face lit up. He was so excited and exclaimed it was perfect and that was him, that was his hero. He loved it and it brought him great joy.

I want to bring that Joy to others like him now.

Growing up in the Special Needs community, I have noticed that so many of these unique adults and kids have heroes, villains, characters, creatures, and stories that go with them that the average person can't imagine.
But when someone can put them down into the physical view, they are thrilled.
As an illustrator and concept artist, I want to do this for them. I want to show the world their characters, create a piece of art they can hang on the wall and say "That's them!" and I want them to feel the same joy and thrill that my uncle had felt that day at the kitchen table.

Will you help me spread this joy?
