Queen Azule

Queen Azule is a character originally designed for a roleplay on a discord chat server. The prompt I was given was the character was a ruler of a desert, lawless world, that was divided by warring factions. My one rule was I couldn't change that the world was lawless, so the ruler had to be okay with it.
It took a lot of thought... What kind of person would allow their world to be lawless and full of war? Wouldn't it be full of anarchy then? Would the hurt of war and lawlessness not burden them?

The conclusion was, it would be someone who doesn't view war or lawlessness as an evil. They could see it as the true form of freedom, allowing communities to grow, fight, and fall in the world without their input. But then, who would be okay with letting their people kill eachother?... Perhaps a warlord, someone who enjoys bloodshed themselves. Perhaps someone raised surrounded by death. Someone who sees the world as survival of the fittest.

Then Azule's concept came.
Azule is a warlord from a long line of warlords. She was raised in a loveless home, by cruel, tormenting parents who wanted her to be a weapon rather than a person. She developed poor mental health as she trained to be a warrior and a leader, and follows the dark triad personality. She lacks empathy, fear, and respect of life, and doesn't know how to love or take care of or nurture living things.

However, her terrible upbringing brought her to hate herself and her family. Some part of her knows constant pain isn't what life is meant to be. So, despite her inability to feel or act like a normal, sane citizen, she tries her best to not outright murder every opposition... She is open to the idea of declaring war on them though.

Skills and Traits

Azule has skills, but they certainly aren't people skills.

Azule has a killer's hand for weaponry, trained from the moment she could walk, she learned how to use most hand held weapons and methods of attack. She is most skilled with blades, specifically in use of assassination. Her skill level is that of a ninja master's quality. She has also mastered the skill of "disappearing" with use of psychological understanding of sensory, comprehensive analysis, and visual stimulation, taking advantage of blind spots and the average "predictive coding" brain's undergo on a daily basis.
Her aim is as precise as it can get and each weapon she holds is often like an extension of her body. She is to the point she feels like she's missing a part of her if she is not equipped with a blade.

When not dealing with blades, her skills are revolved around her responsibilities. She, as a queen, knows how to handle her kingdom in terms of economic growth, security, and stability. She also isn't afraid to declare war with anyone who thinks they're more powerful than she, or anyone who challenges the way of life on her home world.

Backing up her willingness to declare war is a full understanding of weapon engineering, of which she has instituted deeply into her world's militaristic powers. Most people do not know what she's going to use next, but its safe to assume it is going to be destructive.

Azule has the mindset of the big stick policy, or, rather an extreme version of it, but also believes in an eye for an eye and "teaching lessons" through taking things too far. Mercy is not something she gives, she'd rather have bloodshed.
